Re: GUITAR PEDALS FOR VIOLIN
Sat, June 24, 2006 - 2:05 AMhello. i have an epoch electric/acoustic violin, and for my HSC i played while my guitar gently weeps, doing the vocals and the electric guitar parts of electric violin. when it got the the solos kicked a bit of distortion in, was awesome. i used my guitar pedal, i dont know much about pedals and crap, but its called Boss, metal zone, MT-2. it was ok. there was al,ot of feedback whenever you werent playing so you had to gbe careful. and it took alot of tweaking to get sounding nice. and it didnt sound very ghood on long notes. dont know weather it was cause i was using a violin that could be played acousticly as well, or just cause the pedals are built for guitar, totally different. but yea. thats my story.
ha ha just realised this is a really old post. oh well, i am new to this tribe thingy, so i will poist it anyway -

Re: GUITAR PEDALS FOR VIOLIN
Thu, April 30, 2009 - 3:57 PMI use a Digitech Whammy on my Bridge electric 5-string. It sure is fun. :)
I also use a Boss Loop station just for kicks and in combination with the Whammy you can have all sorts of sounds going on at once. ^_^
